CAN THE THE
WEB OF LIFE IMPERATIVE BE OF SERVICE TO YOU?
There is a
simple way to discover if this remarkable book and the optional
Organic Psychology course it contains can help you improve your
thinking and relationships. Simply respond to the following questions:
Are you one
of the vast majority of people who feel better after taking a
walk in the park, visiting a beautiful natural place or spending
time with a pet they love?
Are you aware
that you feel better in these natural settings because people,
including you, are part of nature?
Do you recognize
that nature and its systems have the innate ability to organically
"come back," to heal, renew and restore themselves?
Are you aware
that this is what happens to your thinking and psyche when you
visit a natural area, that nature begins to renew your psyche,
to make your head clear so you feel better? Too often we take
this attribute and gift of nature for granted. This same healing
ability of natural systems operates in your body. It produces
your immune system and your body's ability to heal a cut, bruise
or infection.
When you genuinely
connect your senses and thinking with nature, backyard, park
or backcountry, you simply help nature's regenerative powers
do what they do best.
It's not that
you just get away from your problems. You get away to a natural,
balanced integrity. You walk into a life system that does not
let these problems form, a life system you share and whose powers
you have learned to take for granted. It is for this reason that
in a natural area, nature helps you heal and restore your natural
psyche and thinking ability. The application of Organic Psychology
to this phenomenon powerfully increases it.
The more your
psyche is authentically connected to natural systems, the more
your psyche becomes part of nature and benefits from the wholeness
of nature's healing powers and rewards.
If you trust
the good experiences you have had in nature you already know
from experience that renewal happens. After
all, if you can't trust your senses and experiences,
just what can you trust?
"WLI profoundly
and joyfully changed my life through inviting me to be more fully
receptive to Nature outside and inside of myself."

Isn't it true
that the stronger, more vibrant and lasting your connection with
nature, the better nature works its healing powers? The
Web of Life Imperative helps you improve the wellness of your thinking
and psyche because it scientifically enables you to increase
the time, intensity and range of your conscious contact with
nature.
"I've become more and
more aware of being able to trust nature, the world, and my many
friends and other beings. All are doing their powerful part as
lasting sources of support, guidance and wisdom for me if I remain
open in heart and mind and truly listen to the nature of each
of them."

"I was delighted to
enjoy the way this book provides a doorway to the beauty that's
all around us. It offers a path which helps us find our personal
truth and to trust in ourselves to follow it, knowing that all
the support we need to live safely and joyfully awaits us at
all times."
Sarah Anne Edwards, LCSW,
Author of Finding Your Perfect Work and the Practical
Dreamer's Handook.
"I am constantly reminded
by WLI to act and 'be' out of a sense of deep trust: trust in
the ocean waves, trust the minnow and the whale as meaningful
family to me, trust in you and in the power of the starry starry
night."

CONSIDER
THESE TWO SIGNIFICANT BUT OVERLOOKED FACTS OF LIFE.
ALTHOUGH
PEOPLE ARE PART OF NATURE:
1. ON AVERAGE,
MEMBERS OF CONTEMPORARY
SOCIETY SPEND OVER 95% OF THEIR TIME
INDOORS, SEPARATED FROM NATURE.
2. HOW WE THINK
AND FEEL SHAPES OUR
DESTINY. DURING OUR LIFETIME, ON
AVERAGE,
OVER 99% OF OUR SENSING, THINKING
AND
FEELING
IS DISCONNECTED FROM NATURE AND ITS BALANCING, RESTORATIVE POWERS.
Our daily indoor
survival pleasures reward us for thinking "normally,"
i.e., in nature disconnected ways. What results is our ability
to thoughtfully know and relate to natural systems is similar
to what our ability to read and write would be after learning
to do them for only twelve hours.
Our rewarded
but extreme disconnection from nature's perfection and our biological
origins in its balancing and healing
ways frustrates our psyche and thinking. This produces lasting
and deteriorating sensory stress and resulting discontents and
disorders.
For example,
no matter how rich or poor they be, most people say they need
about 15% more money.
The addictive
nature-disconnection of our thinking and feeling helps explain
the persistent health, emotional and relationship troubles we
suffer. It also explains our difficulty in recovering from them
and our expensive dependence on law enforcement, artificial medications
and therapies and excessive consumerism.
Our excessive
disconnection from nature prevents nature's powerful survival-in-balance
energies from entering and healing our thinking and feeling.
This produces the lack of passion that underlies our apathy,
our self-destructive lack of participation in sustaining our
and the environment's welfare.
"We can
reawaken something within ourselves that we, as a society, have
neglected or forgotten. In sharing WLI with my family, their
natural senses have been reawakened as well."

Since disconnecting
from nature is a source of many troubles, the organic nature-reconnecting
principles and activities in The Web of Life Imperative help you reverse these
troubles. This parallels the
beneficial results of organic food and gardening practices. It
explains why the process this book offers enables you to increase
your mental and physical wellness as well as contribute to the
welfare of your friends and the environment.
"I've
come to learn that my desire is not to run away from anything
but rather to go towards something that is so fundamental that
I wonder how people survive without doing it."

"I
find this new yet primordial way to reconnect with nature promotes
self-healing for addiction and for stress-related problems amongst
teenagers as they uncover the healing properties of nature with
their therapist. Together they learn how to listen to the many
voices of nature and to ignore the anger and frustration they
so often feel and voice."
Revalyn Faba-Sack
Special Needs Intervention Coordinator and Teaching Specialist.
'I'm addicted to the
"positive reward" I get from connecting to nature and
have now made it a priority in my day, even if something that
I used to claim as "more important" doesn't get done."

"Great
to read the text. It is easy, profound and dancing like waves
into the next chapters. Thanks for your work. May god bless you."
Monika Lenz
"The level
of understanding, openness, caring, and desire to grow from each
single person was overwhelming."

Have you ever
- -wanted to
go to a natural outdoor area for your vacation, to the mountains,
a lake or the sea?
- -had a good
experience in nature that made you feel more content or happier
to be alive?
- -longed for
a livelihood that further contributed to personal and global
balance rather than one that exploited Earth and people?
- -noticed that
disorders tend to subside and stress fade when you are in nature?
- -loved a pet,
plant or place that made life more worthwhile?
Have you ever:
- -treasured
a rock or totem that helped you through troubled times?
- -felt greater
love for a person or people while in a natural area?
- -noticed that
it is easier to build and sustain
relationships
while visiting natural areas?
- - felt, at
times, as drawn to Mother Earth as you would a caring human parent
that you loved?
- -noticed that
in nature you can think and feel more clearly?
- -loved a young
animal or plant?
- -wanted to
help an animal in trouble?
Have you ever:
- -had strong
sensations about connections between yourself and nature or Earth
that you know were real but that you can't easily explain?
- -felt angry
or sad about how we pollute, injure or destroy the natural environment
and/or its people and diversity?
- -noticed that
counseling, educating and healing are more effective when they
include quality time in natural areas?
- -discovered
in nature new ways if thinking or senses and sensations that
that are often absent in indoors?
- -felt freer
and more alive when visiting a natural area?
- -cared about
a rock or crystal?
Have you ever:
- -been delighted
to read the scientific studies that document how reconnecting
our thinking and feeling to our psychological and biological
origins in nature has beneficial learning, healing, and environmental
effects?
- -felt safer
and more whole from eating organic rather than non-organic food
or using organic gardening rather than chemically polluting practices?
- -noticed that
many "normal," "well adjusted" "successful"
leaders in our environmentally and socially erosive society consider
the love of nature to be fuzzy thinking or touchy-feely nonsense?
WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW:
The
Web of Life Imperative empowers you to, at will, genuinely connect
your thinking with natural systems and, to your benefit, more
fully energize the natural qualities of your psyche, some of
which are identified in the paragraphs above.
Here is a secret
you may recognize: the greater your fulfillment of your inborn
attractions to nature, the greater your resilience to dependencies
and disorders and the greater your ability to obtain and enjoy
rewards from constructive participation in responsible relationships.
"The value
WLI brought to me was that no matter what your goals are in life
there are simple but powerful organic things that you can do
to bring those goals closer."
